Royal decoration Gémessy

On Saturday May 11, 2019, with the presentation of her oeuvre-catalogue, Marijke Gémessy, artist at Terra Delft, was knighting in the Royal congregation of Oranje-Nassau. The Mayor of The Hague provided this in the Pulchri studio. She received the decoration for promoting the Dutch ceramic art at home and abroad, for publishing the catalogue of Katinka Bruyn-van Rood and for her work in several boards. Marijke Gémessy accomplished many monumental art-works among which the Tegelmannen in Delft.
