Interview with China Daily

This summer, journalist Peng Yining from China Daily contacted Simone Haak and Joka Doedens of Terra Delft Gallery. Yining wanted to write articles about ceramics and the relationship between East and West with the ceramic as its subject. Corregan in Menton (F)

From October 18 2014 to Februari 9 2015 Daphné Corregan exhibits in Museum Jean Cocteau in Menton (F). This exhibition with the titel ‘Overlaps’ shows among others some giant heads. Bronze for Guy van Leemput in Japan

A bronze award for Guy van Leemput in Japan Delft– On this moment at Terra Delft Gallery a rewarded artist exhibits with porcelain bowls. During the 10th International Ceramic Competition Mino – Japan the Belgian Van Leemput has won the third prize in the category ‘ceramic arts’ with his bowl object ‘Big Anas’. The competition was rather strong; artists from 61 countries took part on this prestigious contest. Prizes were given in two categories; Ceramic Arts and Ceramic Design. In 2012 Terra started the cooperation with the ceramic workcentre Sanbao near Jingdezhen in China. This worked out in a book Terra in China – China in Terra. In 2014 Martin McWilliam is ithe first artist who will continue this project through the artist-in-residence project off Terra Delft Gallery.
