The bust shows the portrait of a young woman wearing a so-called "pussyhat". The "pussyhat" was worn by many during the "Women's March on Washington" protest march the day after Donald Trump took office. The resulting movement for women's and human rights brought together millions of women who symbolized unity in their struggle with this symbol. In bright pink, the "pussyhat" on the heads of women was not only provocatively funny, but above all a reaction to President Trump's polarizing, racist and misogynistic speeches.
