From October 18 2014 to Februari 9 2015 Daphné Corregan exhibits in Museum Jean Cocteau in Menton (F). This exhibition with the titel ‘Overlaps’ shows among others some giant heads. These monumental objects were also shown at the MAD, Museum of Art and Design, in New York. And also the latest exhibition at Terra Delft (24/05-28/06 2014) got two monumental human heads.
Tis contemporary artist is inspired by old traditions in ceramics and the contemporary art and architecture, but also by the cultures she got to know through many journeys to Mexico, Burkina Faso, Mali, China and South-Korea.
The futuristic museum, designed by Rudy Ricciotti, is daily open from 10.00 to 18.00 hours, exept for the Tuesday. With this exhibition a full colour catalogue is for sale.
