A bronze award for Guy van Leemput in Japan

Delft– On this moment at Terra Delft Gallery a rewarded artist exhibits with porcelain bowls. During the 10th International Ceramic Competition Mino – Japan the Belgian Van Leemput has won the third prize in the category ‘ceramic arts’ with his bowl object ‘Big Anas’.

The competition was rather strong; artists from 61 countries took part on this prestigious contest. Prizes were given in two categories; Ceramic Arts and Ceramic Design. In total 1.247 artists applied with 2.579 pieces of art.

Till November 22 Terra Delft Gallery shows the decorative bowls of two Belgium artists; Mieke Everaet and Guy van Leemput. And Mieke Everaet is decorated in Mino – Japan as well; she received an honourfull mention for her entry ‘Composition of seven porcelain objects’.

Terra Delft always tries to show high standard ceramic and is in its policy established through the competition in Mino – Japan.
