Celadon has its origins in East Asia and is ceramic with a green-blue glaze. By reducing firing at a high temperature of approximately 1200-1280 degrees Celsius, the glaze turns green to blue, with all kinds of effects being achieved by the degree of reduction, the amount of iron oxide and further additions to the glaze.
