In addition to her free forms in which various techniques are applied, Simone Haak has specialized in earthenware tableware. The various parts are cast in plaster molds and after finishing hand decorated with engobe. This colored clay sludge; the decoration is then in relief on the mold. After firing, the work is transparent glazed and fired again. This glaze is quite hard and makes the work dishwasher safe. Simone also designs on commission and also produces incidental series for anniversary or event such as "grass art", the "hooray shouter" and the "flower bed" series.
Since 2016 she cooperates with the artist Li Zhen from Jingdezhen and produces ceramic art called ZhenXi.
